About the Children’s Cancer Center
Helping children and families cope.
CELEBRATING 42 YEARS
That is the mission of the Children’s Cancer Center, a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving Tampa Bay families of children with cancer or chronic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell Anemia.
With 24 programs and services currently helping over 1,000 families, support is offered to all members of the family and is available throughout every step of their difficult journey – from diagnosis and treatment, to survivorship . . . and sadly, too often, bereavement.
While other organizations are committed to finding a cure tomorrow, the Children’s Cancer Center is committed to helping families cope today. They are dedicated solely to being there for each family through this devastating experience. One day at a time.

For 36 years, local children battling cancer and their siblings have had the opportunity to draw holiday themed pictures and submit them in the month of July to the Children’s Cancer Center. Five holiday cards are chosen every year and are subsequently sold in over 105 Publix stores in the greater Tampa Bay area. Custom cards are also available for companies or families who want to have one created by a child served by the center. The card will include your company’s logo or your family’s name, brand, colors, a personalized message and the child artist’s bio on the back of the card. The CCC Holiday Cards are a wonderful way for you to support local kids in our community while spreading holiday cheer to your friends, family and business associates.
